The Register provides reference information relating to the river flow gauging stations for which flow data are held on the National River Flow Archive; the stations are grouped into regions (see below) and listed by station number order (the second three digits of the number). The organisation with operational responsibility for each gauging station is indicated by a measuring authority code.
